Sr. Embedded Systems Software Engineer

Job Summary
Develop, and test embedded software for TYZX's next generation embedded system camera products.

Responsibilities

• Application development for embedded processors (DSPs, microprocessors, and microcontrollers) using both high level languages (C, C++) and low level assembler language when needed
• Performance tuning and testing
• Participating in software verification and release

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Prior demonstrable success in embedded software engineering projects
• Detailed knowledge of the interaction between embedded processor systems and hardware interfaces including device drivers
• Experience with software development environments, processes and tools including Linux and Microsoft Windows (Visual C++)
• Experience with computer networking
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills including technical writing
• Demonstrated success working in a team environment
• Experience with real time, interactive systems is a plus
• Experience in consulting or small startup companies is a plus
• Knowledge of computer vision algorithms and methods is a plus

Minimum Education and Work Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• 5 or more years' experience

QA & Release Manager

Job Summary
Develop and manage the Quality Assurance and Release Management process for TYZX's SEER Software products.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the TYZX Quality and Software Release process.
• Develop tools for automating the process and coordinating releases with TYZX's customer base.
• Work with TYZX's customers to identify and direct issues to the correct resource.
• Work with Software Developers to manage the introduction of new features into the SEER software product line.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with software release processes, QA procedures and automation mechanisms required.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and experience with Windows and Linux software development environments. C, C++ skills a plus.

Senior Software Developers

Job Summary
Develop and productize tools and applications for the TYZX DeepSea Stereovision platform.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and create new tools to aid in the development of 3D vision applications
• Develop GUIs for use with the tools in a multiplatform environment (Windows and Linux).
• Perform core development on SEER including its software architecture to enhance its performance and maintainability.
• Work with Computer Vision Developers to efficiently implement new algorithms into the SEER architecture.
• Optimize algorithms for speed on a variety of processing platforms, including embedded DSPs.

• Strong software development and architecture skills required.
• Embedded systems programming experience desirable.

Senior Computer Vision Software Researchers

Job Summary
Design and create real-time computer vision algorithms for the TYZX DeepSea Stereovision platform.

Responsibilities

• Developing and optimizing new computer vision algorithms for object tracking using real time 3D and computer vision techniques including motion models and multi-object multiple hypothesis visual tracking.
• Working with others to integrate these algorithms into our DeepSea embedded systems platform and optimizing performance.
• Working with customers to understand algorithm requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong software development, computer vision and math skills required.
• C, C++ and experience with Windows and Linux software development environments
• Familiarity with vision techniques used in object tracking and vehicle navigation.
• Familiarity with calibration techniques.

Seeking an individual with experience in C++/Verilog modeling and ASIC verification. The candidate must be team oriented and able to contribute in multiple facets of the development of a stereo vision ASIC. You will lead the modeling and verification effort, and contribute to methodology and tool selection. Responsible for overall test plan development and execution.

• BSEE, prefer MSEE or equivalent
• Strong coding skills in C++, Verilog, and scripting languages
• Knowledge of testbench development and functional modeling in C++
• Knowledge of hardware pipelined design
• Minimum 5 years related experience

Senior Design Engineer:

Seeking an individual with experience in Verilog RTL design and synthesis. The candidate must be team oriented and able to contribute in multiple facets of the development of a stereo vision ASIC. You will be responsible for design and documentation of major portions of the ASIC chip. Responsible for all aspects of your design, from high level specification to working prototypes.

• BSEE, prefer MSEE or equivalent
• Strong coding skills in Verilog RTL, and scripting languages
• Knowledge of RTL based pipelined design and complex control logic design
• Experience with designing and debugging complex logic blocks
• Experience with RTL synthesis to gate level netlists
• Minimum 3 years related experience

Seeking an individual with experience in C++/Verilog modeling and ASIC verification. The candidate must be team oriented and able to contribute in multiple facets of the development of a stereo vision ASIC. You will develop functional models for major portions of the chip. You will be responsible for test plan development and verification of major portions of the chip design.

• MSEE or equivalent
• Strong coding skills in C++, and scripting languages
• Knowledge of testbench development and functional modeling in C++ or Verilog
